Each year, the town of Dalhousie hosts a festival aimed to bring the community together and celebrate! The Bon Ami festival takes place over the course of a week at the end of July/Beginning of August each year in Dalhousie, NB.

Since its inception 50 years ago, Bon Ami has become a special week for locals and tourist to get together and celebrate their Restigouche community and Maritime pride. Each year, local businesses and prominent community members band together to create an out-of-this-world festival that showcases the the true spirit of Dalhousie.

Locals are encouraged to decorate their homes for this special celebration, and compete for the best decorate house! Tourists aren’t left out of the fun, Bon Ami awards a Tourist of the Year prize each year!
